Thread: Internal pedal not working

Have a go at setting the Source Mode to "Toggle", the "moment" option might be setting to manual mode then immediately back to patch mode.

    Already tried. Nothing happens.

I tried changing the target category with Phrase Loop On/Off, but neither this works.

Hey guys, thank for your interest, but I guess I'm trying to do something that can't be done, at least not on the GT 100 (apparently on the GT 8 it could be done).
I'm waiting for Roland Support reply, but I can already imagine the answer...

i wonder if it is just coincidental that the problems are on targets that are accessible via footswitches.
i don't have the gt8 but the gt6 and gt10 didn't have footswitches assigned to turn on the manual mode or the tuner, for example.

Interesting, I can't get the internal pedal to do anything??????
    GT-100 BUG for sure !!!

Try setting the Source to "Input level", atleast that will give you manual mode while you play, and patch mode when you stop playing.

so far it is only the tuner and manual mode that doesn't work with the internal pedal, i can get the internal pedal to switch on the other fx blocks.
for example, i can get the compressor to turn on a few seconds after i switch to that patch from another.

I haven't tried the internal pedal. Should that prove to be another bona fide bug... I've just had it with the GT series. My GT-100 and GT-10 are already at the top of my eBay pile. Won't sell until I cool off completely.

In the beginning I did something wrong in setting the parameters, so I got the feeling that the internal pedal didn't work at all, but it was my fault. Maybe the thread's topic should be corrected in "Manual mode and Tuner not working with internal pedal", but at this point I guess it's useless.
Anyway, every effect works, with the exception of the Manual mode switch, the Tuner switch and the Phrase loop, which can't be considered "effects" properly, if you think about it.

So far going through all the list of controllers, the internal pedal doesn't work on anything in the list after the Master EQ.
Wave pedal seems the same too, can't get it to do tuner, PH loop, manual mode, and the inc & dec parts, it does work well on the Accel effects, interesting sound.

I wonder why these not working controllers are in the list. If they are not usable they shouldn't be in the list.
