Recently I posted a issue with the 4-Cable-method: When I change programs (only with 4CM not with other connections!!) there is a urgent clicking noise, with every program change (even in the Preset Bank when S/R is not activated; without the external preamp of the tubemeister; independent of level or sounds). The matter for the issue is definitely not my Amp (Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18, with a serial effect loop). The S/R is set to "normal".
You can hear/see the issue in the following short video:
When I reported the fault to my seller Thomann (Europes biggest music shop) they checked the problem with another GT 100 and another Tubemeister and confirmed the annoying click; the same thing combined with a Fender amp; the click is especially clear to hear when the Leadchannels oft the amps are used. Using GT 8 and GT 10 with the same amps worked fine without click. There opinion: It must be an general failure with Boss GT 100 and 4CM.
My big request to you:
Could anybody please check the 4CM (use the Lead Channel of your amp) and post me, if the same issue appears or not.
It' s such a great sounding unit but with this failure it's not very enjoyable in live use on stage. (Here an explanation about 4CM:
Amp input to GT send
Amp send to GT return
Amp return to GT output
Guitar to GT input
