    Default GT-5 and fxfloorboard

Has anyone been able to get the fxfloorboard software to work with the GT-5? I have 1.06 firmware, but haven't been able to get the real-time editing to work.
The software looks great, and it will sometimes load syx files and patches from the tree in the navigation panel with the debug mode turned on, but other than that I haven't been able to get this software to work properly. Modifying stomp box settings through the gui does nothing. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit.

Has anyone else had success? I know the GT-5 is rather old, but it can provide a need if you still have one lying around.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

The GT-5 and the GT-5FxFloorBoard are both a dog, the GT-5 has a wierd effect switching system using bit logic and i can figure that part out, also depends on the midi device you have too, the real cheepo ones just don't work, nor a few other brands.
Also don't have access to a GT-5 to test the program.
Realtime editong only works while "not in Bulk Mode".

I just downloaded the software 2 days ago and Realtime editing does not work for me either. I pressed Utility 4 times to bring the "Midi" menu, but the stompboxes do nothing when I click on them. Bulk mode light is turned off. I can load INIT patches from the menu but that's it, can't tweak them. It seems that I am having the same luck as the other fellow. I have had my Gt-5 since 1998, she's still ticking.

The GT-5 is not well suited for use with an editor, I haven't had a GT-5 for over 12 years, so I can't fully test the software either.
AFAIK: The only thing not working is the effect on/off system (due to the GT-5 using a really messed up bit shuffling system of controlling effect switching), the theory is both the GT-5 and editor in "Bulk Mode" only allows patch data to be extracted from the GT-5 to the editor, when both "not" in bulk mode, only allows realtime editing data from the editor to the GT-5.
A "double left click" or a "single right click" of the mouse cursor on any stompbox (not on top of a dial or the switch but on the body area) will open an effect editing page with more detailed controls, or the stompbox can be dragged to a different chain position.

And the GT-5's can out with many different EPROM firmware variations, only firmware versions 1.06 and 1.07 work with midi editing.
