Thread: GT-100 Librarian

    Default GT-100 Librarian

You can download the GT-100 Librarian and USB drivers from
    http://www.roland.com/support/articl...ads&p=GT%2D100

First thing I noticed with this is,
    You can import
    GT-6 bulk dump patches,
    GT-8/Pro bulk dump patches,
    GT-Pro librarian patches ,
    but..
NOT GT-10 PATCHES seriously? is this an oversight

How weird is that? Does that imply that GT-6 and GT-8 patches are compatible with the GT-100 but GT-10 patches will not be at all? -Rod-

That's gotta be a mistake as the 8, 10 and 100 have dual preamps but the 6 does not.

I guess that works for me, as I completely skipped out on the '10.

So. do you just import the bulk dump from the GT8 as a generic SMF into the librarian or what? I didn't see any "convert" options.

On another note, when I installed the app on my mac, it automatically made itself the default app for all .mid files. What a pain in the ass!

Yes, *.mid type (SMF = standard midi file)
