Thread: GT-100FxFloorBoard GUI editor for the GT-100

  1. #21

    Default

Just updated the Windows version to 20120320 with the latest GT-100 midi implimentation specification loaded,
so it now has all the GT-100 patch features and should hopefully be capable of realtime editing of patch data only (so far).

Mac and Linux versions are now updated too.

here is a direct download link for the mac tiger-leopard 32bit version (done with the wrong colors)

Just updated the windows version (sorry mac & linux users..update coming soon) to 20120410 (10th April)
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/fxfloorboard/

Getting the GUI sorted out now, fixed much of the mis-alligned effects, still more work to do on the File I/O system, which is a bit of a hold up until Roland deliver on the promise of a GT-100.

    Any thoughts, ideas, or comments???

Looks really cool. Having spent some time getting aquainted with the gt8 version finally, I'm excited about having the fxfloorboard work for the gt-100 on my mac. Did Boss promise you a unit?

EDIT: Do you have the 2 amps in a series configuration? Wasn't aware you could do that. Or is this just the visual representation for the parallel setting?

Yes, I was promised a unit, but actually getting one may be different,
much like doing the GR-55 editor,
    i was promised one,
i provided some nice free software for all to use,
then nothing...........but silence........ no email replies................(these dots are like tumble weeds).
Meanwhile (from unnamed sources) it is a known fact in Roland HQ that the software significantly boosted their sales.

If you look closely at the stomps between the Channel Divide and Channel Split, they either have a green "A" or red "B" bagde to signify if it is either A channel or B channel.
There is physicaly not enough screen area to have the stompboxes in a single line, so the chain is laid out Top left > Top right, Bottom left > bottom right.

Wow this thing looks rad...I may have to spring for a 100 for myself! Also, are you the one who programmed the GT3 manager (I think it was called) so long ago? That was a rad little piece of software and the last time I had my GT hooked up to a computer (since my midi-enabled computer bit the dust long ago and I never bought more cables to use with my soundcard). I'll definitely spring for some dinero to pony up to pay for your efforts!

I realize that you don't have a GT-100 yet gummie, no worries there. As always I appreciate your work on FxFloorboard!

20120410 version installs fine on Win 7 64-bit. I can "Connect" to the GT-100 and list banks and patches on the left side. When I double-click a patch to load it into the editor FxFloorboard crashes.

Hopefully Boss will follow through on their promise soon but I can live with it for now. Gives me a chance to learn the new knobby interface. :>

Thanks for all of your time and work gumtown -- hope you can get a GT-100 soon! Looks like you deserve one after all the effort on software for GT-100 and previous units!
