Hi.. i came back to the 20120523 version... no more problem with the assign pages buttons missing ... but troubles with the delay settings the pan delay limited to 2000 ms offers 3378 ms !!!!!!!! and only whole note for tap tempo bpm... strange
The editor is still being constructed and is a work in progress, the later version has the delay times fixed, and the system and midi pages purposely disabled for the moment so not to screw the system settings up until things in there are 100% verified.
The previous version does not have the ez-tone additions, and currently the file save is disabled until the saved format is 100% verified.
Currently looking for objective feedback on the ez-tone gizmo, any improvements to do there? or is it OK.

sorry EZtone as actually and absolutly no interest for me.......
***After some recording... and comparing 4 sound created with EZ-tone (FxFloorBoard) and those 4 same one re-created with the GT-100 original EZ-tone... I think the basic is 100% on the money.***
EZ-Tone is OK for me... I like the Dropdown list... the way it look right now is almost 100% what I tought it would be.......right now it's 99.98% there.
0.01% : the ambience could be adjusted by the scroll button from the mouse...( I don't even know if it's possible)
0.01% : the graphic for the Basic tone could be upgraded...
Other than those 2 little things... it could very well stay the way it is and I would be able to sleep at night!!!
Thank you gumtown.
Thanks Loonyk for checking out the EZ-Tone, I do have a new basic tone graphic already to include, the ambience in the EZ-Amp was moved to a separate page and expanded to include chorus and delay (should they be present in a EZ-Tone patch), just not sure if it's a bit over the top though.
The rest of the EZ-Tone controls should work the same way as in the GT-100 (changes the same parameters in FX1 EQ, Main EQ, and Amp settings in the same operation).
Thanks again for the time to do the comparisons, this is the sort of feedback I have been after (rather than good but not very useful comments like "great" or "nice").
I am currently upgrading the GR-55 editor at the same time, so new features are being shared between the two editors, the ez-tone X~Y drag plot will be sized to a larger square box and th eblue dot made bigger for easier use with touch screens.
Another beta update will be released soon with these modifications and updates to try out..

Is there a completed version of the GT-100 FX Floorboard Editor software available and if so what would it cost.
Thank you for your time -- Lou
it is not finished yet, probably in about 2 months, this programming thing eats up a lot of time, non stop since january on the GT-100 version.
As for cost, in the past the editors have been free with the hope for a donation, so far the ratio of past editor downloads vs donations is at about 0.02%
Which works out at >10,000 hours spent editor programming over 8 years on 22 editors with a return of about 20 cents per hour.
So i am still undecided on the GT-100 editor for cost, if i give it away for free again, this will most likely be my last project, so far the GT-100 version has returned one donation for 7 months work.
I am still working out the best way around this, probably might require a small registration fee and key code for all features and a free version that is slightly crippled.
At one point i was giving away free registration keys for those that wanted to help evalute the software for me, but i never heard back from anyone.
I'm not sour about all that (if it seemed like that above), it has been a great learning experiance on how to program in c++ and about midi and the workings of the GT series (and the ME and GR's), especially when i have never been taught programming, only learning along the way.
That reminds me to look at tidying up my email inbox with the 1500+ emails from people wanting help on using either the software or the GT's, it's all a bit overwhelming sometimes for one person, i need a pA (and a vacation - i'm a work-a-holic).

You definately need to charge for your work. It's a professional looking and working product and the best way to let the community know how they can help pay you back for the utility of it is to put a license around it and a dollar amount to it. No reasonable person would have issue with that so there's really no excuse not to do it. People will buy it.

There is an issue with USB transmission. 1 example is when switching patches, takes several clicks before it selects. The same happens editing a patch, but once saved, sounds completely different. I don't suppose the V1.4 update has anything to do with this? Can't be Vista cuz my GT-10 does not have this problem with FXFB.
I have no problem with making a donation once the program has been made glitch free and finalised.
