How to make front panel headphone jack work ?

I have one headphone jack on the front panel on my PC and it doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to make it work ? I believe it would be much better to plug my headphones on the front instead the back of my PC.

Base on my research about this problem. There are some answers that I gathered. Maybe this problem occurs due to carbon in the wires connecting your front panel to motherboard or may become loose. So re-fix the jack and wipe out 'black carbon' if you see.
