Thread: Microsoft Phising Strikes Reply Pages

  1. Default Microsoft Phising Strikes Reply Pages

    Hey Admin,

While replying to a thread, Microsoft jumped up and down in their typical way and decided this was a phising site.
The pages it complained about where:
    http://bossgtcentral.com/forum/newre...wreply&p=99312
    and
    http://bossgtcentral.com/forum/newre...treply&t=12583

I submitted a report saying that I didn't think it was a phising website but I thought I'd let you know (publicly incase others come across this) anyway as there was an option presented for Admins to respond if they felt their site had been incoreectly picked up.

P.S. Does anyone else find it increasing difficult to enter those anti bot codes? I managed to fail one of Microsoft's! Am I losing my humanity?

EDIT: If you don't think this post should be here feel free to move it. I wasn't sure, but I figured you were more likely to notice it here.

Thanks for pointing this out. I would need to get more information from you. The link you provided to me brings me to a reply to a post. What am i supposed to do? Am I supposed to just reply to the post? IF so, what error message did you receive?

I have not seen any of this on any threads. I wonder why this would be the case on one sepecific thread.

Anyways, please let me know as much information as you can so I can chase this down.

    Thanks

When I went to those pages, the IE7 Phising filter advised they were phising websites and then presented the relevant options (report what I thought etc).

I have now gone back to those pages and manually checked them with the phising filter and it said they were not phising sites.
So I guess that means it was just a glitch that affected me and you needn't worry about it.
