"Hey Guys, I've been tweaking the GT10 to some really mixed results. After what has been ages really, i'm finally getting the hang of the infamous Assign function However a newer and more critical issue surfaces. I play in a ministry and we are gonna be coming on a local televsion channel. The setup there doesnt allow any sort of miking and everything directly goes into the mixer. The question i pose to the GT10 gurus onboard here is this. What should be the ideal Effects Chain Layout when going direct into the mixing board using a MFX unit like the GT10 as the entire chain layout is really flexible and EQs and Time Based Effects and Tone Altering Effects can go anywhere really. If someone could describe a layout that he/she uses in similar situations, that would help a ton !!!!!!! Hi! Unluckily, there is no real answer to that question. The positioning of the effects solely depends on what you want to achieve ... For a "traditional rock sound" DELAY and REVERB go last, in that order. The rest is to your liking. But: If you want a proven setup that really works, just ask RustyFalcon. He plays in a similar situation, and he sure can give you detailed tipps. hth, Alex " Please help man!!!
