Boss GT Central was started by me when I purchased my Boss GT6 and saw that the manual was just not good enough. I started this site with the hopes that fellow musicians would come together and share their information and thoughts about this unit in an open community. Since then, this site has gone through two iterations and a re-launch in 2002. We are the leading online content repository for the Boss GT series of effect pedals.

We are not sponsored, monitored or affiliated with Boss or Roland in any way. Just musicians working together. We have a great collection of sounds, patches, software and retail merchandise available. Also, our forums are the most comprehensive source of information available anywhere in the world for Boss GT units.

Boss GT Central has a repository of user patches submitted from various users to cover various type of sound applications. It is a great place to look for patches to get you started on your quest for tone!

Please note that the credientials neeed to access the files are not those of your user id and password associated with this site and its forums. The credentials to access the Patch eXchange are:

User ID: guest
Password: guest

If you are a type to get great sounds out of your Boss GT units either in front of an amp, direct through a PA or using 4CM, please sibmit your patches for the community!

My first four patches (U01-1 to U01-4) are general use patches that range from clean to mild to heavy overdrive. The next 10-11 banks are filled with song specific patches.

what may seem like a grat idea could be frought with issues what works for an ipad doesn't mean it will translate well to other systems and could well make them unstable.
