I'll try to make it a little clearer by giving you a concrete example: What I did was storing one sound patch together with the midi information (e.g. switching amp modes on my JVM) on the U01-1 and stored another sound patch with different settings and different midi information (e.g. switching to another amp mode on my JVM) to U01-2. Switching between those two patches is no problem and all data including the midi "amp-switching" were transferred. So far so good. But if I now only want to copy the U01-1 patch to another userpreset on the GT-10, (e.g U01-3 ) all sounddata is transfered to the new patch (U01-3) except the midi information!!! I have to do the midi switching within the copied preset U01-3 for the JVM again from scratch! This can`t be the truth especially while using a lot of user presets and amp mode switches for our shows - often with changing set-lists and the wish to reorganize these setlists thru the library software!
