Run a search on the forum. We had a discussion about line 6 products a while back and we disceussed the pros and cons extensively. 8)

Do you mean pod xt pro, or pod pro??
The xt pro has a new update that really has people talking. Adds some new models and such. The line6 freaks are saying its the best thing.
Also, my understanding is that the xt pro, and the xt have the same exact sounds. The only thing you are paying for is rackable and xlr outs....
You can buy the xt pro on ebay for $500. I saw one sell for that last week. You need to pay $100 for the model packs tho.
yeah it's the xt pro surf...
cause i'm really thinking of "building" a studio in my room! i have a duplex house and i'll change my room to where's the studio, which is in the first floor of the house! the second floor has a 12 to 15 m2 area and the room is around 15m2!
this room is the last level of the building (6 levels)
i'm seeing the budget but the xt pro may be a good choice, maybe better than having my sm 57 on the amp! cause if you don't have very good pre-amps, maybe the sound ain't that good!
it's just an option!
i have to try playing drums on my room to see how they sound (don't want the neighbours complaining!)

I have both the gt6 and pod xt pro they are both great.
Now, in my experience I've found that the pod xt pro is great for direct recording, it's cons would be that the sounds are already very processed and sometimes not very "natural" sounding, but then again, normally that's what people complain about, not enough meat, well, that's what this baby has a lot of.
Then we have our trusty gt6, now this is my live weapon...versatility, flexibility, natural sounding, I'll tell you something, people like us...guitarists I mean,we are a bunch of sick perfectionists, we suffer more from perfectionism than the actual sound quality we hear on our new toys...
Fact is, you got a digital piece of equipment, you gotta work it baby, tweak it! most of them sound good, you just got to adjust them to your real playing environment
