In the GT8, the mic & cab sims are disabled unless you have your output set to Line/Phones....

maybe its the same on the pro? worth checking anyway...

Did you try it using the GT-Pro Editor instead of tweaking the knobs?
I've never tried to adjust the mic tweaking the knobs

Yes, I use the editor but I get nothing, the cab sim works but the mic sim just doesn't want to work and I don't know why.
