Goes bump in the night.
Yes you can do that If I understand your question. I was able to set any of the FX params to continoously adjust the value in real time. is that what you are asking, or is it something else?

No, I mean more of an actual physical calibration of the pedal itself. It would not return completely to 0 so if I was using say pedal bend, it wouldn't actually go to a 0 value when brought back to the end of its travel. Resulting in a hideous sound.
What I did to remedy it was actually open it up, loosen the set screw that connects the pedal to the pot and make adjustments until it seemed right and then retightened the screw.
This seems to work for now but there has to be a better way to calibrate the pedal. Somewhere somehow there should be a way to set the electrical value that comes from the pot to min and max values on the pedal itself. Shouln't there?

Yes absolutely. I do not own a FC-200 but I completely agree with the idea that there should be programmatically possible to calibrate the pedal.
I own a Behringer FCB 1010 and there is function allowing you to programmatically calibrate both pedals whenever you need to.
