Just wondering if anyone could help me out here...

Is there a way to input midi from the GT-PRO to PC simply by using the USB cable? I'm trying to do this, but my programs like Adobe Audition or even Guitar Pro won't recongnize it...usually just recording through my PC mic or something.

What exactly are you trying to do with MIDI? All MIDI does is send program/control information, not an audio stream. What you need to do is install the USB drivers so that you can record audio over the USB port. If you have the drivers installed and the device turned on, then your recording software should recognize it (it may require a restart of the recording program if you turn the unit on after you've started up your software).

Okay then.

I already installed the drivers and I can control the GT-PRO from my computer monitor, you know...editing the pedals, etc

But I would go on Cool Edit Pro and set my wave output to GR-PRO and it still wouldn't record any audio stream through USB.

Help?? :( :?:

Hmm... does Cool Edit Pro require that you set the Recording Device in the Control Panel (Sounds and Audio Devices) to the GT-Pro? It may be conflicted with whatever you have currently set (probably your soundcard).
