Detune

:cry: I would like to have some patches that would drop my standard tuning down to Eb so I don't need a second guitar. I have tried the Pedal Bend feature, which will let you tune up or down in any increment, but it sounds like the tremolo is at full speed. I have also tried the Pitch shiter and that sounds bad. Any suggestions?

Someone had asked a similar question not too long ago. I also added that I was interested in droping from EADGBE to BEADGE so I can cover Dream Theater tunes although I only have a 6 string guitar. Here's a link to the posts. I still ended up having a very odd "synth" sounding downtune, but perhaps it'll work out for you.

The most important thing to remember when Pitch Shifting, is that the further the Shift, the more "off" the tracking will be.
So Dand, Eb can be done fairly convincingly with the Pedal Bend or Pitch Shifter FX. Make sure that you place them before the Preamp or OD/Distortion for best results.
