GT6 to GT Pro

how can I get sounds from my GT6 to my GT Pro?

My experience is with the gt8 not the pro, however, the question has been asked more than once regarding GT6 -> GT8 and the answer is always the same....It can't be done as the .syx files are different in size....

given that transferring GT8 patches to the GT-pro isnt straightforward either (although it can be done), I would think it extremely unlikely that you will be able to transfer your GT6 sounds to your Pro....

The answer is not no....

If you have or can convert your GT6 patches to mid format GT Pro Librarian will import them and then you can sned them to a Pro.

I have not done this with a GT Pro, but I have with a GT8.

The patches sound similar, not the same with the GT8, but they are a good start to get the sound you had on the 6.
