Hi there,
i've got my gt-pro and a fcb1010 since 3 days. i installed the sysex file gt-pro_no_ctl.syx from the gt-pro yahoogroup successfully. I want on every patch a wahwah on pedal b that i can switch on/off with the
pedal a. so, i assigned on cc7 wah pedal and on cc80 wah on/off and programmed the fcb1010 for it. the wah works fine on every patch, but i can't switch it on/off. it shows some strange behaviour. when the switchpedal is down nothing happens and when it is up the wah switchs
on off on off on off the whole time and the wahwah-led is blinking. i'm really confused about that and tried several options.
Does anyone know maybe what i've done wrong or how to set it up correctly?
i would be very happy for any help.
thanks

Hi Martin !
I dont actually own the pro yet at least ,but i do own the FCB1010 and a Boss vf-1 that is actually in many ways very similar to the pro.
I dont think you can actually control two controlchange numbers at once with the FCB1010 and you shouldnt have to i think.
This is what it says in the manual for the VF-1 (couldnt find it in the GTpro manual):
Assign 1: on
Target: wah (pedal wah):pedal
Target min:0
Target max:100
Source type:Exp pedal
Source mode:Normal
Source min:0
Source max:50
Assign 2: on
Target: wah:On/Off
Target min:On
Target max: Off
Source type:Exp pedal
Source mode:Toggle
Source min:80
Source max:120
With these setings, moving the expression pedal in the range of 0-99 will turn the wah on,producing the wah effect.
Advancing the pedal to 100 or beyond will turn the wah off.
In this way you can use the pedal to turn the effect on/off
Since this is the settings for using an expression pedal directly connected to the VF-1 you would have to change the source type to midi 7 (cc7)that you have assigned to the expression pedal of the FCB1010.
Im not entirely sure that it will work on the pro, since im unable to try it out ,but i think that it is somewhere in this area at least.
I dont use it this way myself ,i use the auto wah function switched on by one of the buttons on the FCB1010.

Hi Evilution,
Thanks for your advice! I will check this out in the next minutes.
BTW you said you think the FCB can't control 2 controlchange numbers at once. Do you know why???

Im sorry i discovered i didnt really write it the way i ment it to be.
The FCB1010 can control several controllchange numbers, what i ment to say was that i dont think just one expression pedal on the FCB1010 can control more than one controlchangenumber at once.
Sorry about that.
BTW if youre not already using the unofficial but great editor for the FCB1010 it can be downloaded here http://www.mtnsys.com/faq-fcb/PCEditor.htm
It makes life a whole lot easier.
Best regards

Ah... now i know how you ment that. you're right with that.
i tried the settings out. but i've still got the same troubles
with the wah. i think i will reset my gt-pro because i made
probably some crap by myself with the settings.
...and for sure i will download this editor.
