Loading .syx into the Pro

Hi

Since the GT8 and GT Pro are build around the same engine, I'd like to load some of the .syx patch files that are floating around here into my Pro. Any suggestions on how to accomplish that?

As far as I know, you've got two options.

First, you can get there manually by editing a .syx from the 8 so that it works for the Pro; all that has to be done is to change reference's to the 8's model ID to that of the Pro. I described it here when I first got this approach working:

Second, you can PM MrSleepy and tell him you're a Pro owner looking to use patches from the 8 (and tell him aerial7 sent ya).....
