Hi all!

This is my first posting on the GTCentral website. I own a GT-6 and just got a GT-6B. I did not receive a manual with the 6B and am having a small problem. My Alembic bass has active electronics and seems to be overdriving the input of the 6B (the de-fretter sounds really bad) is ther a way to reduce the input gain? If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate soem help. I too am looking for the manual PDF that another member is working on.

Thanks,

RS2

Turn down the output on your bass.
Use the "level meter" (utility button on GT-6, not sure about 6B), and check that it's the input clipping, not anything else.. (preamp etc)
If it's something else, turn that something else down :)

try to turn down the compressor's level if comp is on.
