I am doing a research to find online-shops for the GT-Pro in Europe. This is what I've found so far (prices include VAT):
musikland-online.de (http://www.musikland-online.de/onlineshop/giteff250570144/Boss-GT-Pro-Gitarren-Multieffekt-Prozessor.html) 744,00 €
music-town.de (http://www.music-town.de/musik-instrumente/BOSS-GT-Pro-Gitarren-Multieffekt-Prozessor.html) 749,00 €
billymusic.it (http://www.billymusic.it/commy/prodotti_view.asp?PRODOTTO_ID=19257) 740,08 €
thomann.de (http://www.thomann.de/thoiw11_artikel-177423.html?sn=aaf76dde56bd9d2b5bf4cded6f38a653) 725,00 €
musik-produktiv.de (http://www.musik-produktiv.de/shop2/shop04.asp/artnr/100019785/sid/!06082002/quelle/listen) 749,00 €
soundland.de (http://www.soundland.de/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/1000000_1103101/products_id/233655/language/uk) 749,00 €
In England online-shops it takes more than 800 €
musikland-online.de is the only one that says that it's in stock, but I'm not sure if I can trust it, because all the others say it will not be available until september. Maybe they just want my advanced payment for the reservation.
Do you have experience with some of this shops, or with others  ?
Cheers,
Manuel

Hi Manuel,
I have one on backorder from Thomann. They say they are only receiving 2 units from Boss per month. I am very annoyed about the time it is taking, but I have no choice but to wait.

Hi Owen,
At Thomann they told me that they expect to receive the first shipment around the beginning of september, but they don't know how many they'll get.
I believe any shop will receive any unit until september.
Let's wait! :?

Merci Beaucoup Djinn!
I think the problem with the GT-Pro is the spelling mistake on one of the buttons, so they will need to get their supplier to do another batch. The whole situation is ridiculous, but I know the wait will be worth it. Anything to replace my Pod at this stage will do, the rack is just waiting for installation :D
A tout a l'heure

Hi Owen,
Have you finally received yours? I ordered mine from Thomann the 20/07/05 and I'm still waiting. :(
The annoying thing is that at the Thomann's web page they change the expected delivery date every week. At the end of July they said 1/08/05, the first of august it changed to "2-5 days" then the 19/08/05 and today they say 01/09/05.
It's really annoying because I've already sold my GX-700 and now I'm playing with my JMP-1 connected to a Korg PX4 (wonderful small machine, anyway).
I'm wondering if the trouble is from Thomann or from the Europe's supplier.
Cheers,
Manuel.

I've ordered mine a few months ago from a local music store. Apparently, they "lost" it a few times during shipment, so I'm also still waiting for it :(
Was thinking about getting one at Musik Produktiv or something, but that would probably take just as long (they don't have it in stock, or at least the 'in stock' emblem does not appear on the GT-PRO page), and be more expensive in the end.
Can't wait for this baby to arrive.. together with the FCB1010 I ordered. Now to find a good poweramp as well, I was thinking about the Peavey Classic 50/50 or the Brunetti RockIt.

Hey Manuel,
I got mine about a month ago, I'm still learning with it. Tonight I tried a gig using my FCB-1010 to control effects, rather than patches, like a stomp box. Worst idea ever, I don't recommend it. It was so difficult in between singing to remember to turn on/off chorus or delay before going into a lead sound, and remembering to drive the tube amp sim with a tube screamer sim. Forget it, I'm going back to patches, with two extra buttons, one for pitch shift, one for wah.
I was on the phone to Thomann so many times I think they sent it to me to shut me up! But it's in my rack now, and other than the fact that I have a lot to learn, I'm really happy with it.
I hope yours does not take much longer, I remember the feeling of not having oh so well. It will come soon, I promise!!
Owen.

I've found a cheaper one:
681,00 Euro (inc.VAT) at http://www.musicians-gear.com/
They say delivery time is about 14 days.
Anyway, I'm still waiting the one I ordered from Thomman in July .
Cheers, 8)
