GT5 to Fender HotRod Amp Setup Help needed!

Apart from the normal Input, my Amp has only Power Amp In & Pre Amp out - I need suggestions in the best way to connect the GT5 as the 4 cable method is incompatable with my amp (as I believe it's onlt suitable with an FX loop)

I don't see why you can't use 4cm. It's just a matter of translation.
Fender input (connect to gt5 fx send)
Pre-amp out = Fender FX send (connect to gt5 fx return)
Power amp in = Fender FX return (connect to gt5 output)
