FC-200 Users ~ Request

Can someone out there with the FC-200 foot controller due me a favor?

Using a Midi Message Reader, can you tell me what Midi code is sent when you press the CTL pedal on and off on the unit? Also what CC code is transmitted when you use the expression pedal? Is it CC#7 or something else?

Also, is it momentary or latching? Meaning does it send only one CC code on the first press and then a second different CC code the second time it is pressed? Or does it send one CC code with it is depressed and immediately another CC code when it is released?

I am trying to program my FCB1010 pedal to wrok mith my Pro. I have it somewhat working, but think it could be better. I have not been able to find any info on what the FC-200 transmits, though.

Not really needed now. I did a bit more reading and thinking on the FCB capabilities, and I think what I have setup now is the best I can get using Midi CC's.

In order to mimic the true CTL functionality, I am going to make me a custom cable that allows me to hook up the Midi and the two relay switches on the FCB1010 to the Midi and CTL1 and CTL2 inputs on the GT-Pro respectively.

What I have works for now, but to get the true CTL functionality I need to use the built-in relay switches on the FCB1010.

My ultimate goal is to create a single cable that transmits the Midi signal (need 3 conductors), power via the phantom power mod (2 conductors), CTL1 switch (2 conductors) and CTL2 switch (2 conductors ~ according to a post I read, the switches can not share the ground on the FCB). Thus I will need a 9 conductor snake cable (currently looking for a source) which will have a MIDI connector and two 1/4" phone plugs on each end.

I just want the simplicity of one cable run versus the three cables back to the GT-Pro plus a power cable.

I'll post the results once I get it all done.

I understand you don't need this anymore, but I'll answer anyway since I have the FC-200 manual handy. In "Control Change" mode, CTL is #80 and EXP is #07.
