:D
I know alot of people are comparing the GT-8 to the pro, but let me shed some light here...
I have used the GT-6 for 3 years now and it is an impressive unit, but here are my reasons for going to the GT-Pro..
1. Just having controls on the floor in my opinion makes changing patch details much harder than controls on a rack where you can walk up to unit and tweak away.
2. I also use the digitech GSP-2101 and the one feature that it has which really is extremely underrated is the ability to switch patches and have a cross fade of sorts.. They called it seamless patch change, so there is not an abrupt change of sound...
Very cool!!! and guess what ?? The GT-Pro can do this, the GT-8 cannot.
3. The ablility to change patches on the computer is a really amazing addition as well...
All in all I anticipate the GT Pro being one of the last guitar effects changes I will make...
check out our website and see what the Boss stuff can do...
