is a pre release version to try, it has the graphical E.Q plotting for the 3 parametric EQ effects.
your thoughts ?

Well I tried it and ...
Nothing so far seems to be broken :) and the problem I had with the patch summary - you have fixed that.
now for the downside,
I hate the big circled metalic? background - to me it is too distracting. What happened to the black background shown in your examples?
The graphic EQ interfaces - great idea but..
The EQ with the sliders is OK but the other two (albeit they are similar) a) don't seem to work properly b) confusing c) and again do not appear as in your example shots.
Now
a) The low and Hi cuts work OK but the Q on the lower band seems wrong and the top band does not seem to work at all
b) Confusing as it is all yellow and I cannot get an idea of what the band are doing (multicoloured? )
c) In your graphic examples you have little yellow squares which I do not seem to have.
Hope this is helpful and taken in good spirit as intended.
I am running it on Win7x64
Cheers

thanks for your thoughts, it's great to get some feedback !! :-)
The different background is just a trial at something different, the black background is still there, if you select from the menu TOOLS > PREFERENCES > WINDOW and set the window mode to "single window layout" (then restart the software), the layout will be of a single window (as done with all past versions) with the black background.
The new feature is the multi window edit page option (as distinguished with the metalic background), i would like some feedback on this type of windowing, which will be of not much advantage for small screen resolutions, but could be useful for high resolution screens or multiple monitors.
The pictures posted of the example pages are from the first initial software pre-release, and has been updated twice since with the different background added and more changes to the parametric EQ (for the worst i might say).
The Parametric EQ graphic is still giving me grief trying to build the 2 mid frequncies into the low/high cut graphics, problem being the mid frequencies can exceed the limits of the high and low cut frequencies. The Graphic EQ in FX1/2 is a bit more complete with red dragable nodes on each EQ band, and i got rid of the horrible sliders (i could have maybe improved the slider look instead).
A 'release version' maybe some time away since there are other things i want to do, like dragable graphics for more effects (simular to the GT-10 EZ Edit) where multiple GT-10 parameters can be set through X-Y mouse movement, and the possiblity of gesture movements for touch screens (since the programming framework supports this).
And of course user feedback is importaint too, much apprecianted :-)

much apprecianted There you go again with that NZ dialect again :)
I like the multi-windows, worth persevering with. An example of multiple windows for me would be the assign windows - I have patches that use delay from slapback to long delay and seeing both assigns would be helpful.
Did you consider different colours for the different bands or even coloured lines instaed of solid yellow, then they could easily overlap and still be visable.

Any "official" update on the horizon ? Last formal release for GT-10 appears to be July. Just curious gummie.

some may be on the horizon soon, i am just stuck on the EQ graphical drag,n,drop editing at the moment, a new look to the layout too.
