As with the GT-8 before NAMM, the Japanese Roland site has some Q&A for the GT-Pro.

BUT, as before, it is in Japanese. I have used Babelfish to translate it, and though the sentence structure doesn't really make sense sometimes, you can get a better idea of its features.

Really?

I thought it was interesting to read about all of the different routing capabilities that are not present with the GT-8. Course this may have been known already, but it was news to me.

I'm torn between the GT-PRO and the GT-8.

I need something NOW, and buy the GT-8 but I may well upgrade to the GT-PRO when it's released. I already have a midi controller sys for it.

hmm...I wish these things were on the streets right NOW!!

In fact, with all my gears in my rack case, Pro is the one I should be after, but I dun think the price is good. On the other hand, 8 is more or less a very good all in one gear. The wah button under the exp pedal is a very useful function that my Behringer midi foot controller fails to provide, too. I therefore may prefer the 8...
