i've encountered a problem with my slicer fx

i created a new patch using EZ Tone Clean 1 and i added a slicer FX with rate and trigger both at 50 (pattern 1). Using this patch, whenever i played an open low E or a note on the low E string, i heard some weird noise on top of the normal output. kind of like a bubbling sound, a little static-like. anyway, i tried this with both my amp and with headphones, so it seems to be coming from either my gt-6 or my guitar, please check this out and tell me what you think

i checked and there seems to be no clipping

Yes, I've noticed this, and all I can put it down to is some sort of digital aliasing.

In fact, it doesn't matter what the Slicer settings are or what Amp you have selected, it's there, and it's accentuated more so by more gain.

I can't help with a remedy as I don't believe there is one.

Maybe Dar has a theory on this, it's probably more in his field of expertise.
