I know the tuner is good, but can you really use it on stage? Can you see it from far, or is everyone just getting dedicated rack tuners?

Hi markhat, I can see the tuner from about 3 meters without my glasses 8) It's not too big but it makes the job quite good.

Pardon my english measurments, but how far is that in feet?
about 9 feet. 1 meter == about 3 feet.
And yeah, it's very usable in the dark, but i also need glasses to see/read anything of that size at more than 1 or 2 meters.

I broke down today and bought a Korg DTR-1000 rack tuner. The Boss is great, but I don't want to be thinking about it on stage I decided (in other words, squinting, and wondering if you're on the money).
If I wasn't on stage, the Boss tuner works great. If it had the old GX700 style even that would have been usable on a stage. Oh well. I'm happy with the Boss in other ways, just bummed I'm out more cash.
