I need help with programming patch ideas that result in sounds that are amp-realistic by using the line/headphones selected output.
My on-stage setup is a Strat into the GT-5 & line out into a powered mixer - quite a standard set-up. However, I just can't seem to achieve the simulated quality of an amp without the high strings sounding thin, edgy, metalic, brittle & tinny! - I've adjusted the eq so much it hurts.
Selecting an Amp (combo) output seems to help a little but not totally satisfactory. I'm now concentrating more on the live sound of the unit than my performance - Have I totally missed the plot & just been a complete idiot (be kind  ) or is there just something I've overlooked?
Would appreciate any help - Thanks :?
